Characteristics

This film is 100% biodegradable. It has an average water vapor rating, and heat sealability. 195 MST is a light weight film that may crinkle and dry out over time.

Applications

This film is clear and shiny. It is considered high grade packaging and is used for all types of products including the storage of food. Some food products that store well include baked goods, candies, nuts, dried fruits, spices, cake mixes, and produce/lettuce greens. It also works well for greasy and oily products. Because 195 MST is a light weight film, the durability of the packaging should be considered.

SARAN COATED 140K CELLOPHANE BAGS

Characteristics

This is a cellophane film made with the same process as our biodegradable series of bags with one additional step. The cellophane film has an additional high barrier coating of saran on it. The saran helps keep the film from wrinkling and increase shelf life. It has an above average water vapor rating, excellent machinability, and heat sealability.

Characteristics

This film has a high moisture barrier property, high grease resistance and good dimensional stability. It is clear and shiny and has a high quality appearance. Because this film is cellulose, it can become dry and crinkly over time.
